Bill Cox has been a Director of the Credit Union since July 2007. Bill's involvement stems from being an elected board member of the North Fulham New Deal for Communities (NDC): a government initiative to reduce inequalities in the area. One of the inequalities the NDC sought to address was the right for residents to have a bank account. Bill has lived in Hammersmith & Fulham for most of his life & since 1979 at the same address in North End Road. He works as an analyst for the government.
Bill is chair of the much-loved Sunday morning children's football league at Lillie Road Rec. He is proud to be a resident of the only borough in the world that has 3 professional football clubs. QPR, known affectionately as the super hoops chose him as a boy and he has never strayed to another club. He dreams that one day Lillie Road produces a QPR player, who goes on to collect the Champions' League Cup for them.
