Nick was elected to the Board of London Plus Credit Union in April 2009 at the first AGM of the credit union. Originally from Liverpool, he has been a resident of the borough for more than 10 years, although he still has a passion for football and has not been tempted to defect to any of the local H&F teams: Chelsea, QPR or Fulham.
During this time Nick has worked for the French Investment bank, Societe Generale and for the past 7 years Nick has been a Director within the bank's DCM Capital Markets team with responsibility for UK and Irish Financials. This work has given Nick great experience in Liquidity Management, Risk Management, Credit Processes and Funding Plans, all of which will be of great benefit to the credit union.
Nick is keen to put his experience to work to help further growth of London Plus and feels that one of the lessons of the current financial crises is the value of institutions such as the credit union and the benefit they can bring to the whole community.
