Mark was elected to the supervisory committee in 2015. Before retiring in 2006, he worked for Barclays bank for 33 years. For the last 16 years at Barclays, Mark worked closely with the independent debt advice sector to help improve the bank's approach to those customers in financial difficulty.
He also was involved in setting up the bank's Financial inclusion Team to bring together its support for the financially excluded and disadvantaged. It was here that Mark first became invovled with the credit union movement. It is also where he became involved with projects to help improve financial capability particularly among young people.
Mark has lived in Fulham for 35 years since 1980 and joined London Plus Credit Union in 2010. His hobbies include reading, travelling, cinema, opera and visiting museums and galleries
